Outer Hebrides May 2023
I'll be embarking on a van trip to the Isles of Harris and Lewis with Carla and Monty (our cat). Hopefully I'll get some plein air paintings done as well if I'm lucky. My goal is to fill about 10 little 7x5 inch panels and see what happens. I did a little practise painting to get in touch with that cobalt teal and sandy beach vibe I'm hoping to encounter. The Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye
After a recent trip to the Isle of Skye I decided to develop a painting of the islands mythical Fairy Pools. What you see here is a work in progress. Might take a few months yet to complete.
